This is that energy where you’re sitting in between 2 choices, 2 paths, 2 people, or even 2 versions of yourself. And instead of choosing, you’re just kind of… sitting with it. The 2 of Swords can also represent being blindfolded to the truth. Not because you can’t see it, but because you may not want to see it yet. Sometimes we already know the answer deep down, but we hesitate because we know that once we make that decision, things are going to change. And sometimes we’re not ready for the change that we know we really need. This card also carries a defensive energy.
