• Dear God/Divine/The Universe,

Thank you for blessing me with the gift of empathy first and foremost. I ask that you help me use my discernment so that I can differentiate my emotions versus the emotions of others. Help me be aware but not absorb emotions from others. Help me recognize the people who drain me and set boundaries with those individuals. I am understanding that it's spiritually important for me to surround myself with individuals who pour into me as I pour into them please help me decipher the difference between those who are draining me and filling my cup. Help me cleanse, purify, release and transmute all negative memories, blockages, energies, emotions and vibrations. Help me continue to transmute dark into light. Again for I am thankful for my beautiful gift.

And so it is! As it will be done, so mote it be.

Signs That You're An Empath:

You can feel other people's feelings and emotions.
You get tired quickly especially in a room full of people.
You have low tolerance for discomfort & a low tolerance for witnessing the discomfort of others.
You're an excellent listener.
The moods of others impact yours.
You naturally take on the emotions of others.
You can sense the shift of energy around you.
Random people ask you for your opinion/help.
You're affected by the weather: cloudy=sad, sunny =happy.
You're a giver until you can't give anymore.
You see the intentions of others even if their words don't match.

Empath Affirmations

Taking care of my energy is my priority.
It's not my job to fix anyone and I'm not here to fix everyone.
Saying no is a healthy way to set boundaries.
I release what is not mine to feel.
I believe good things are coming my way.
I have the right to choose how I want to feel in all situations.
What other people are feeling is not my business.
